Roger is an engineer, and has been working in the wind energy environment for the last twenty years. As we are beginning to understand, wind is an energy and he has found this also seems to translate into attraction of the orbs. Roger has been blessed with innumerable orb encounters. These orbs can show themselves as a plasma entity, huge orb storms referred to as “snow storms”, flashes of iridescent light again as varied as the shapes of snow flakes, and great vortexes filled with bizarre shapes and colors. Roger’s approach to understanding them is rather scientific and yet subjective, portending that there is very little scientific data available on orbs and orb encounters, and opinions about them, well… that can be anything anyone chooses to think and rationalize, if possible. The orb population that Roger has photographed thrives predominately in the windy, secluded, rural areas of southeast Wyoming.
Christine has been in the nursing field for more than 35 years. It is primarily a field of science laced with spiritual overtones as critical patients are usually in unstable situations, a thin veil separating them from life or death. So, looking into the appearance of these orbs in Christine’s life, has been and seems to be a natural journey. Christine was visually introduced to orbs over 5 years ago when they started appearing in photographs. It was as if pulling back the veil, Christine found orbs. The hunt was on and gathering pace, trying to capture them digitally and gain some understanding of them. Christine has been actively photographing them since her move to rural Washington, where she met Roger.
We collectively have now amassed a large pictorial collection which we intend to share with you. During this time, Roger and Christine have observed and discovered that orbs seem to sense their desire to interact with them in some meaningful way. That would be saying that the orbs sense moods and intent as energy. The orbs seem to enjoy and flourish in challenging weather conditions, another highly charged energy source, and interestingly enough, indoor events like weddings and children’s parties, to mention a few. The advent of digital photography has opened the door for anyone to capture them in their amazing light displays, as varied as fingerprints in range of shapes, sizes, textures and venues. No one knows for certain what orbs are or what they represent but more to the point, why they have now become so apparent at this point in time and so prevalent.
Together, Roger and Christine have developed the hobby of “Orbing”… seeking out opportunities to photograph these entities and present them in a variety of ways and formats as an aide for anyone and everyone to create their own interests on this subject, to share opinions and chime in on the challenges of defining their mystery.
